Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of identifying opportunities for growth and
finalize project proposals, including:
- Lead the initial screening of projects and ensure their
business viability by conducting interdisciplinary due
diligence.
- Analyze all early-stage aspects, from environmental and public
acceptance to key technical and resource development factors, as
part of the finalized project proposal for investment
decisions.
- Develop and expand business networks and partnerships.
- Engage with potential customers and negotiate offtake
agreements, exploring innovative structures to unlock more
value.
- Manage negotiations of contracts for partnerships, including
dialogues with landowners for collaboration opportunities.
- Actively seek, secure, and engage with top partners to develop
geothermal heat and power plants in the US.
- Maintain good communication and relationships with
stakeholders, collaborators, landowners, utilities, municipalities,
and off-takers.
- Collaborate with marketing to enhance visibility of our
business at local and international levels, including communities,
industry, and policy platforms.What you will do through our core

- Have business development experience in energy or related
fields.
- Are an excellent communicator, capable of engaging stakeholders
at all levels.
- Are a skilled negotiator with a track record of finding optimal
solutions.
- Possess strong analytical skills related to business
development.
- Are adept at presenting projects tailored to the audience.
- Experience in a startup environment is a plus but not
required.More information and applicationThis is a hybrid role,
primarily based at home, with up to 50% domestic travel and
occasional international travel. We gather once a month at our San
Francisco Bay Area office for team collaboration.Please submit your
