Volt is now immediately hiring for a CNC Machinist in Madera, Ca. Overtime is available!

As a CNC Machinist, you will:

Operate lathes, mills, and other hand-controlled machines to shape and finish metal or plastic parts according to precise specifications.
Set up and operate CNC Horizontal and Vertical Mills and ensure all materials are readily available
Perform G and M code basic editing
Manufacture product that meets quality requirements.
Inspect product and, if non-conforming, process via non-conforming material procedures.
Carry out production, 1st piece inspection, and machine operation duties
Meet time and schedule standards for assigned work
Correctly process work via required paperwork and MRP system.
Advise supervision of issues that arise.
Translating engineering documents (drawings, specifications, etc.) into logical processes to complete tasks.
Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
Maintain a safe and clean workspace
Follow established safety rules and regulations
Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict safety guidelines of the company

This is a full-time temp to hire opportunity.

The schedule is 7am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday with OT

The ideal candidate will have:

2 years' experience is preferred
Mazak brand machining experience is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting
Ability to accurately read complex blueprints

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
