Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Delivery Driver
to join our team! You will drive to deliver and pick up fedex
packages. Qualification to apply Criminal record: Must have a clean
background — no major misdemeanors or felonies within the past 10
years. Clean driving record: Must maintain a clean driving record
for the past 3 years — no DUIs, reckless driving, or cell phone
violations. Minor tickets or accidents are acceptable. Work
authorization: Must be legally eligible to work in the United
States and own a valid passport. Driving experience: At least 2
years of verifiable, relevant driving experience Medical and drug
screening: Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug test.
Background check: Must successfully complete a 10-year DOT
background check. English proficiency: Must be able to speak and
understand conversational English. Professional qualities: Must be
punctual, reliable, energetic, and honest. Be able to safely
lift/carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with hand truck Be able
to climb stairs Be able to work in all types of weather
Responsibilities Your vehicle must be operated safely at all times
Delivery and pick up of packages to businesses and residences.
Routes vary in number of pick-ups and deliveries, but expectations
are a driver will routinely perform up to 150 stops a day Perform
daily inspection of vehicle including checking fluid levels Loading
vehicle for deliveries and organizing daily loads Work
independently and as part of a team Provide exceptional customer
service and maintain appropriate communication with manager
Accurately operate scanner/effectively track delivery process
Accurate disposition of package delivery and pickups is a must and
critical to our integrity. Consistently deliver entire route in a
timely manner This is not employment with Fedex.
