As a Senior Workers Compensation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing our clients, which are companies of various sizes and industries, in workers' compensation cases. Your expertise will be crucial in providing legal counsel and advocating for our clients' interests throughout the litigation process.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal counsel and representation to companies in workers' compensation cases in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Defend our clients against workers' compensation claims and disputes, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Review, analyze, and interpret medical records, depositions, and other relevant documentation to build a strong defense.
• Collaborate with our support staff, including paralegals and legal assistants, to efficiently manage caseloads and ensure accurate and timely preparation of legal documents.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations to represent clients effectively and negotiate favorable outcomes.
• Engage in legal research to stay up-to-date with relevant case law and industry developments, enabling innovative and proactive defense strategies.
• Communicate regularly with clients, updating them on case developments and providing insightful legal advice.Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active California State Bar membership in good standing.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Workers Compensation Attorney, with a demonstrated focus on defending companies.
  • Proven experience in handling Subrogation, Asbestos, and/or Labor Code -132a cases (a plus).
  • Excellent litigation and negotiation skills with a strong ability to argue persuasively.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and other legal professionals.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to mentor and guide junior attorneys and support staff.
