year About the Role The IT Product Manager (Salesforce & Enterprise
Applications) is responsible for managing and optimizing the
organization’s Salesforce environment, including Experience Cloud
(portals), Salesforce Einstein, and related integrations, while
also overseeing one or more vendor-supported or internally
developed products. This role ensures product offerings meet
company standards, align with business goals, and deliver strong
user value across the full product lifecycle. Under the guidance of
the IT Solution Management, this individual develops and maintains
product documentation, communication and training materials,
business requirements, and user stories. The Product Manager stays
up to date on new Salesforce releases, emerging features,
security/controls requirements, and industry best practices to
drive optimal adoption and utilization of Sound Physicians
platforms and workflows. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with
Salesforce and relevant technology vendors. Monitor vendor
performance to ensure adherence to SLAs and contractual
commitments. Collaborate with vendors on platform enhancements,
integrations, and solution designs. Product Lifecycle Management:
Manage the entire lifecycle of vendor products from inception to
retirement. Ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory
requirements. Coordinate product rollouts and new implementations
in partnership with development and business teams. Ensure
iterative releases of technology are supported by user acceptance
testing / validation. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with
internal stakeholders (e.g., HR, regional/site operations,
enrollment, finance, accounting, marketing, sales) to understand
business problems, business processes, requirements and feedback.
Communicate product plans, progress, and results to internal
stakeholders, including executives and team members. Accountable
for the development of communication and education materials for
new technology functionality within the development cycle as well
as incorporating user feedback into the product roadmap. Ensure
iterative releases of technology are supported by user acceptance
testing / validation. Promote standardization and best practices
across regions and service lines where appropriate; this includes
leading user groups within Sound Physicians to facilitate best
practices and share knowledge. Have a thorough understanding of the
business processes and how the product features support.
Communicate product plans, progress, and results to internal
stakeholders, including executives and team members. Roadmap,
Product Backlog and Strategy: Develop and maintain a product
roadmap that aligns with company strategy and customer needs.
Prioritize product features and improvements based on business
value and customer impact. Write clear requirements/detailed user
stories with acceptance criteria, ensuring they are actionable and
can be estimated by the vendor and/or internal Sound Physicians
development teams. Accountable for the development of communication
and education materials for new technology functionality within the
development cycle as well as incorporating user feedback into the
product roadmap Platform Analysis: Stay current on Salesforce
releases, licensing changes, industry trends, and emerging
capabilities. Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify
new opportunities or risks. Use data-driven insights to make
informed platform decisions. Project Management: Use Agile
methodologies to manage product development cycles. Provide
estimates and partner with project managers on timelines and
resource needs. Remove blockers and ensure the team delivers
incremental value through continuous improvement. Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor products.
Develop contingency plans to address potential issues. Customer
Focus: Act as the voice of the customer in product development.
Ensure vendor products deliver exceptional user experiences.
Production Support: Conduct analysis to determine root cause of
reported issues May provide Tier II Application Support to users

Familiarity with the hospital medicine industry and Sound
Physicians’ mission is a plus. Alignment with Sound’s mission,
vision, and core values. Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. Strong background with
implementing Salesforce products (e.g., Sales/Service Cloud,
Experience Cloud, Salesforce Einstein AI). Experience managing an
Agile development team and leading iterative technology releases.
Experience supporting product adoption through communication,
training, and iterative improvements. Preferred: 4 years driving
adoption of Salesforce or another enterprise technology platform. 4
years writing business requirements, user stories, process flows,
and supporting documentation. Experience implementing Salesforce
backed agentic AI functionality Salesforce certifications (e.g.,
Admin, Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, Business Analyst)
strongly preferred. Experience in leading small projects and
iterative technology development Salary Range This position offers
an annual salary range of $90,000-$110,000. Exact salary will
depend on the candidate’s experience, education and geographic
