Job Description:
Minimum qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent practical
experience. 4 years of interaction design experience in product
design or UX design. Include a portfolio , website, or any other
relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable
link and/or access instructions). Preferred qualifications:
Experience in the Media and Entertainment industry. Experience in
developing and maintaining design systems. Experience designing for
large screens, accessibility standards, and the Android ecosystem.
Portfolio showcasing work on consumer-facing products, including TV

user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user
experiences—from concept to execution. Like all of our UX jobs,
you’ll collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve
the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired
products that people love to use. As a UX Designer at Google, you
will be instrumental in shaping the future of entertainment by
independently driving end-to-end design for Google TV. Leveraging
your expertise in UX principles and user-centered design, youll
manage challenges unique to the 10-foot television experience,
translating user needs and product requirements into intuitive and
engaging solutions. Google TV is redefining the TV experience to
make it highly personalized, Google-smart, and content-forward to
help users access the world’s media. Through recent launches like
Chromecast with Google TV, we bring together the best of Google.
Google TV is focused on scaling across the OEM ecosystem; working
closely with third-party streaming partners plus many teams across
Google (for example: Ads, Play, and YouTube); and building a
business on TV platforms, OTT devices, and mobile devices. With
millions of active users of our products plus being amidst the
quickly evolving media and entertainment industry, there are plenty
of opportunities for the team and individuals in it. The US base
salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$185,000 bonus
equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level,
and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by
work location and additional factors, including job-related skills,
experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can

and engaging user experiences for Google TV, from initial concepts
and user flows to polished visual designs and interactive
prototypes. Advocate for a user-centered approach to design,
creating seamless and enjoyable ways for users to discover content,
control playback, and personalize their Google TV experience.
Contribute to and leverage Google TVs design system to build
visually consistent, accessible, and easy-to-navigate interfaces
optimized for remote interaction. Partner closely with engineering
and product management to translate design concepts into reality,
clearly defining user experience requirements and ensuring
high-quality implementation. Seek user insights through testing and
data analysis, using this feedback to refine designs and create
highly engaging and effective user experiences.
