CATERING COORDINATOR Yountville, CALaying in the heart of Napa

experience for any occasion! JOB SUMMARY: The Catering Coordinator
provides administrative assistance to Catering and Conference
Service Managers, assisting with contracts, BEO's, and office
administration. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIESAnswers phones;
qualifies incoming inquiry calls and ensures all inquiries are
dealt with accurately, timely and in a professional
manner.Communicate with on-site staff through clear banquet event
orders to ensure event logistic needs are metFacilitate all events
to confirm event details are executed, providing exceptional
service from event set-up to tear downAssess and document the
outcome of each event to propel future improvement upon all
processesTake part in walk throughs and document it
thoroughlyAdministrative duties include preparing contracts,
proposals, emails, mailing lists and invoices.Respond to
meeting/catering inquiries.Serves as a point of contact for
reservations, bookings, equipment, catering and other such
services.Communicates to internal and external clients.May assist
in daily coordination of projects, including preparing and
maintaining project plans, budgets and staffing
requirements.Maintain the various Catering file systems, both
electronic and paper, including Account Files, Master binders for
Banquet Event Orders.Any other duties as assigned by DOS. REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree required.Proficient with Microsoft
operating Systems OnQ and Sales Pro EnterpriseMust be able to
convey information and ideas clearly.Must be able to evaluate and
select among alternative courses of action quickly and
accurately.Must work well in stressful high-pressure
situations.Must maintain composure and objectivity under
pressure.Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace
including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems
as necessary.Must have the ability to assimilate complex
information data etc. from disparate sources and consider adjust or
modify to meet the constraints of the particular need.Must be
effective at listening to understanding clarifying and resolving
the concerns and issues raised by coworkers and guests.Must be able
to work with and understand financial information and data and
