Job Description:
Vituity is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our
healthcare team, focusing on delivering high-quality medical care
across various specialties including emergency medicine, hospital
medicine, critical care, anesthesiology, and acute psychiatry. This
role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure
optimal patient outcomes and the advancement of Vituity’s mission
to improve care delivery through innovation and excellence in
healthcare services. Assist physicians in the assessment and
management of patients, ensuring high standards of care. Perform
routine patient examinations and record patient histories
thoughtfully and accurately. Implement treatment plans as
prescribed and monitor patient progress. Provide education and
support to patients and their families regarding health issues and
treatments. Participate in multidisciplinary health team meetings
to discuss and plan patient care. Conduct minor surgical procedures
under the supervision of a physician. Ensure compliance with
healthcare regulations and safety standards. Stay current with
advancements in the field and contribute to medical research
programs. Strong clinical skills with the ability to work both
independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients,
families, and team members. Proven ability to perform under stress
in emergency situations. Knowledge of electronic medical record
(EMR) systems. Capability to implement clinical and diagnostic
procedures. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current Physician Assistant license.
Certification by the National Commission on Certification of
Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
