Job Description Are you an experienced Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB-GYN seeking to make a lasting impact in a collaborative, high-acuity hospital environment? Join a dynamic, 24/7 in-house team of OB-GYN Hospitalists serving one of the leading Regional Perinatal Centers in San Jose, California — the vibrant heart of Silicon Valley. Position Overview As an OB-GYN Hospitalist, you’ll provide around-the-clock obstetrical and gynecologic care in a modern, well-supported setting. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity ideal for a physician who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient safety, teamwork, and clinical excellence. Your Responsibilities - Provide 24/7 in-house OB-GYN hospitalist coverage - Attend deliveries and manage obstetrical triage and inpatient care - Conduct patient evaluations and oversee labor and delivery - Assist in surgical procedures and ensure continuous fetal monitoring - Offer OB-GYN emergency department coverage - Collaborate closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists and Level III NICU neonatologists - Participate in a community back-up call system for gynecologic surgeries Qualifications - Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN (within 5 years of residency completion) - California License (or willing to obtain) - OB Hospitalist experience – Required - Clean malpractice and licensure record – Highly Preferred - DEA - Must reside in or be willing to relocate to San Jose, CA Compensation & Benefits - Base Salary: $296,400 – $416,100 annually (based on experience) - Annual Performance Bonus potential - Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage - Short- and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, and AD&D - 401(k) with profit-sharing Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) eligibility - Paid Sick Leave: 40 hours annually (pro-rated for new hires) - Health Savings Account (HSA) & Flexible Spending Account (FSA) - Parental Leave, Progyny Fertility Benefits, and Continuing Education Assistance - Access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP), discount programs, and benefits ?
