Job Description:

PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team, focusing on delivering intensive rehabilitation therapy to patients post-hospitalization. This role is crucial in assisting patients recovering from surgery, injuries, or illnesses to regain their independence and functionality. As an Occupational Therapist with PowerBack Rehabilitation, you will develop and implement therapy plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic recovery. Assess patient conditions and needs to develop suitable rehabilitation plans. Implement patient-specific occupational therapy interventions. Evaluate and document patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan and coordinate effective rehabilitation strategies. Advise and educate patients and their families on post-treatment care and lifestyle adjustments. Maintain patient confidentiality and records in accordance with health regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in using therapeutic equipment and technology. Ability to create and follow through with customized care plans. Expertise in physical rehabilitation and human anatomy. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid and current licensing as an Occupational Therapist. Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
