Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Location: Gilroy, CA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $990 to $1,110 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $33.00 - $37.00/Hourly. Summary: A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) works under the supervision of an occupational therapist to provide rehabilitation services that help patients regain, develop, or maintain daily living and work skills. COTAs assist individuals with physical, developmental, emotional, or cognitive challenges to achieve functional independence and improve quality of life. Responsibilities: Assist in developing and implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans. Conduct therapy sessions using exercises, adaptive equipment, and therapeutic activities. Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising occupational therapist. Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and adaptive techniques.
