the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Outpatient Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day
Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years of Pediatric experience
including Pediatric Diabetes Education and diabetes medications.
License: RN License Certifications: AHA BLS Must-Have: - BSN - 2
years of Pediatric experience including Pediatric Diabetes
Education and diabetes medications - Ability to float to other
facilities Description: This position offers 8-hour day shifts,
Monday through Friday. Candidates must be flexible with days of the
week. COVID-19 vaccination and booster are required, with
exceptions for medical or religious reasons only. The ideal
candidate will have experience in working with pediatric patients
with diabetes. Preferred experience includes 1 year of ambulatory
care. Candidates need to be willing to float to other units and
facilities as needed. The role involves providing care to infants
and pediatric patients diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2
Diabetes, and pre-diabetes. Daily responsibilities include
medication reconciliation, patient education, and chart
preparation. Skills required for this position include blood
glucose monitoring, telephone triage, and obtaining vital signs.
Candidates should also be proficient in using electronic health
