Job Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) will utilize the nursing
process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning,
implementation, and evaluation, to deliver personalized nursing
care to residents. This role involves collaboration with residents,
their families, and interdisciplinary colleagues, including
healthcare providers, to plan, execute, and assess care. The RN
will demonstrate proficiency and operate within the full scope of
nursing knowledge, adhering to age and population-specific
standards relevant to their clinical environment. Responsibilities
include caring for residents throughout all stages of preventive
care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. The RN will
coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, provide education,
and implement various nursing interventions. In addition, the RN
may take on the role of charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks
to both licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensuring that
all duties align with job descriptions, skills, resident care
needs, and the competencies of the delegates. Adequate support will
be provided to ensure safe and effective resident care and to
address any service concerns. The RN will operate within the
standards of nursing practice as defined by the Nurse Practice Act
and relevant administrative rules in their state of practice. The
foundation of nursing care delivery and professional conduct is
based on the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics
for Nurses as established by the American Nurses Association.
Qualifications Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing
program is preferred, including institutions recognized by the
Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation
Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for
Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred. Must possess an
unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing in the
state of practice, or hold multistate licensure if in a Nurse
Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Must obtain and maintain required
department-specific competencies and certifications. Benefits Our
