Electric Hydrogen's mission is to make molecules to decarbonize

heavy industry, at prices below fossil fuels.We are looking for a
Strategic Sourcing Manager supporting our Indirect spend. You will
negotiate contracts, analyze commercial terms, and improve pricing
across an assigned category of indirect spend including Contingent
Workforce, such as Technical Services and Business Services for our
Engineering and Deployments team. You will develop category
strategies and use market intelligence to develop alternative
sources. You will work with a variety of teams. You are someone who
is comfortable working while taking full ownership of your
domain.In addition to the procurement, and vendor management
responsibilities, you will contribute to the of the procurement
function. This includes creating and refining processes and
templates that can be applied across all vendors and categories
worldwide.You will work onsite at our San Jose office, and report
to our Indirect Procurement Manager.Role and Responsibilities
- Develop key internal stakeholder relationships to create
strategic sourcing models for professional services that optimize
the value of necessary goods and services
- Implement cost-effective procurement practices, optimizing
supplier performance and competitive pricing
- Prepare RFQs, RFPs, bid documents and evaluate proposals, and
administer the evaluation process
- Craft negotiation strategies and execute favorable terms and
conditions
- Create contract documents in collaboration with the legal
department
- Contribute input toward the creation and implementation of
programs to assess and promote supplier performance, development
and management (e.g., establishing quarterly and annual goals,
conducting quarterly business reviews, formal scorecard
measures)
- Report out on KPIs within your category that support company
objectives
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to drive collaboration,
innovation, and continuous improvement
- Analyze market trends, perform benchmarking and leverage
industry knowledge to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, such as operations, finance, and
engineering, to define SLAs and KPIs for suppliers and measure the
appropriate criteria, such as: delivery of business results, cost
reduction, quality and timeliness of deliveryQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or
other related field
- 5+ years in purchasing, buying, or procurement
- Experience procuring professional services
- Demonstrated experience making data-driven decisions with
incomplete information
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to partner with
key stakeholders across diverse teams
- Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable,
SmartsheetCompensation and Benefits - P3#LI-Onsite$97,000 -
$121,500 USDActual base salary offered to the hired applicant will
be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications,
job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and
experience.Base salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen's
