They established and maintained trusted business relationships and continue to serve clients all over the country. - -This is a confidential search for Senior level leadership, potential path for Presidency. - This role works directly with ownership to lead and manage retail and lumber mill operations for multiple regional locations. • Accountable for profitable financial performance of assigned operations including developing vigorous operating budgets for 2-3 locations for retail and lumber building materials.
• Alongside Ownership, identify long and short-term opportunities for capital development and improvements overseeing purchase, installation and startup of equipment.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure implementation of best practices to enhance overall efficiencies and productivity.
• Provide leadership and training to accomplish goals/objectives/KPI's.
• Initiate, investigate, review, and follow up on possible value-added activities/process improvements/ efficient use of raw materials that are beneficial to the business.
• Consistent, often weekly travel to remote locations via company plane.What you bring:
  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 7 years of progressive leadership experience in wood products or lumber industry.
  • 5 years of successful management experience with emphasis on team engagement, collaboration and fostering strong partnerships.
  • Financial management experience, including budgeting, analysis, and forecasting.
  • Operational leadership with prior success developing effective operating strategies and effective monitoring systems.
  • Evidence of the ability to foster a culture of data driven, continuously improving, and innovative process design across the company.Compensation: $150,000-$180,000/year annual 15-25% bonus incentiveThis is a confidential search.
