Job Description:
Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leader in cloud computing
platforms, is seeking a detail-oriented Data Center Controls Tech
to join our Engineering & Maintenance department. This role focuses
on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the physical
infrastructure that supports our large-scale, high-availability
data centers. The successful candidate will ensure that AWS
continues to provide innovative and reliable solutions to its
global customer base by maintaining optimal performance of HVAC,
electrical, and building management systems. Monitor and maintain
data center conditions and electrical power systems. Troubleshoot
and repair HVAC and electrical systems to prevent downtime. Manage
building control systems and adjust settings to meet changing
operational needs. Perform preventive maintenance according to
schedule and industry standards. Respond to emergency situations
involving data center infrastructure to ensure minimal service
interruption. Compile and analyze facility operation data to
optimize performance. Support installation and commissioning of new
data center equipment. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and
electrical troubleshooting. Experience with data center
infrastructure management (DCIM) tools. Ability to read and
interpret technical diagrams and schematics. Proficient in using
automation systems for building management. Excellent
problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified
Data Center Professional (CDCP) or equivalent. HVAC certification
is preferred.
